Chanuka Na Digi-skills

In a world where digital skills are becoming increasingly essential, especially for young people, this project aims to bridge the digital divide and empower youth with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital age. According to a recent survey, 60% of young people in our target age group lack basic digital skills, putting them at a disadvantage in today’s digital economy. Studies show that only 40% of young people have a good understanding of integrity and ethical practices, highlighting the need for education in this area. The digital divide is a significant issue, with 30% of young people in underserved communities lacking access to digital resources and training. Additionally, by incorporating sessions on integrity and ethical practices, we aim to cultivate a generation of responsible and ethical leaders who will drive positive change in their communities.

Objectives:

Objectives:

1. Provide free digital training to 500 young people aged 14-29 to enhance their digital skills and bridge the digital divide.

2. Increase young people’s knowledge and understanding of integrity and ethical practices by 20% by 2025.

3. Empower young people to develop at least 20 innovative solutions to address challenges such as corruption, social injustices, and undemocratic practices in their communities by 2030.

4. Enhance the employability of young people by 30% by equipping them with valuable digital skills and integrity knowledge.

5. Create a platform for young people to collaborate, share ideas, and work together towards promoting integrity and positive change in society.

Implementation:

The Chanuka Na Digi-Skills Training program will address these gaps by providing hands-on digital training, workshops on integrity and ethics, and opportunities for young people to collaborate and innovate. Through a series of engaging and interactive sessions, participants will develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital world while also learning about the importance of integrity and ethical behavior.

Impact:

By the end of the project, we aim to see a significant improvement in the digital skills and integrity knowledge of the young people who participate. We anticipate that these empowered youth will go on to create innovative solutions to address social challenges in their communities and contribute positively to society. Ultimately, we hope to create a network of young leaders who are committed to promoting integrity and driving positive change.

Conclusion:

Chanuka Na Digi-Skills Training is not just a project; it is a movement towards empowering young people and closing the digital divide. With your support, we can make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of young people, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the digital age. Join us on this exciting journey and together, let’s build a brighter future for the next generation.
